Best Time to Visit

Between 08:00 and 10:00 the bakery is at its best: everything is warm, the canal is quiet and tables are easy to find. Weekend afternoons are lively — come before 12:00 on Saturday if you would rather sit than queue. Apple pie usually sells out by late afternoon.

How to Get There

We are a 15-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal, straight along the canal ring, or five minutes on foot from the Nine Streets. Cycling is the local way: there are racks directly outside, and the canal path is flat the whole way.
